Chosen as best gun of the year by the Single Action Shooting Society, the Pietta 1873 is a faithful reproduction of the 1873 Colt Single Action Army. It features a color case-hardened steel frame and fluted cylinder. It has a 4-click hammer and two-piece walnut grips. It is chambered in 357 Mag/.38 special with a 4.75'' barrel and a 6-round capacity. 100% Italian made, it is very highly regarded for superb craftsmanship and accurate replication of the original.
This one looks, functions and shoots just as they did a century and a half earlier.
The Pietta 1873 is a modern reproduction of the classic Colt Single Action Army revolver, chambered in .357 Magnum. It is manufactured in Italy and features a faithful design to the original, with a few key details:
