Here is a really nice example and almost impossible to find in its original configuration. A 1907 Production Springfield Rifle Caliber 30-06 SN#164741. This rifles serial numer is a hit in the Springfield Research Study Database. I have not sent off for the detailed information, but it's SRS hit is tied to the Chunking Consulate China - 1927. The US Marines were in China at this time, mainly on guard duty. Rare GRG Inspection Mark (I've never seen one)
Please see detailed pictures for condition/description. Overall condition is good to average with numerous spots of rust starting to take hold. A large amount of the original bluing remains. I have taken many pictures of this rifle. If you need more information please reach out.
