Description:
I have for sale a lovely little Arrieta Model 557 in the great, and my favorite 28 gauge. This great little gun has nice long 29 inch barrels, straight English stock, splinter forend, and double triggers with the front trigger being articulated and with bushed firing pins. Several things that I love about this particular double barrel:
1) The round action which makes the gun so much easier to carry, not digging into your arm.
2) Balance point just ahead of the hinge pin giving you a smooth easy swing.
3) The long 29 inch barrels which also add in smoothing out your swing
4) The exactly 6 pound weight which makes for easy all day carry
5) The beautiful upgraded wood so that even if you aren't finding birds you certainly can look at a beautiful gun. This is the nicest wood I've seen on a Model 557.
6) Stock dimensions are perfect for most shooters at 1 1/2 X 2 1/8 X 14 3/4 over the checkered butt and cast off for the right hand shooter.
Chambers are 2 3/4 inches. Right bore measures .547 with .003 of constriction giving you a nice skeet choke. Left bore measures .546 with .006 of constriction for a nice improved cylinder.
Condition is excellent with only the slightest of handling marks. Ejectors are strong and well timed.
