Why the Model 57 "No Dash" Belongs in Your Collection:
  • First in its Class: As an original “no dash” model, this revolver is a rare, first-run variant. It embodies the inaugural production design of Smith & Wesson’s .41 Magnum line, making it a highly desirable collectible among enthusiasts of vintage revolvers.
  • Historical Significance: Introduced in 1964, the Model 57 was designed with a balance of power and finesse in mind. A response to the demand for a potent yet controllable caliber, it played a unique role in the revolver world—bridging the gap between the powerhouse .44 Magnum and the popular .357 Magnum. Owning a Model 57 means holding a piece of revolver evolution in your hands.
  • Unmatched Aesthetics and Detail: The Model 57’s iconic N-frame, polished blued or nickel finish, and wide target hammer exude an old-school elegance that modern firearms rarely achieve. The deep blued steel or mirror-bright nickel finish is as stunning today as it was in the 1960s, making it a showpiece in any collection.
  • Investment in Quality and Value: "No Dash" models are among the most collectible revolvers in Smith & Wesson’s lineup, with their value appreciating over the years. Its rarity, combined with enduring popularity, ensures it remains not only a beautiful firearm but also a wise investment for any collector.
  • The Model 57 "No Dash" is a symbol of Smith & Wesson's peak craftsmanship. It’s a revolver that commands respect—both for its unique place in history and its timeless design. As you seek to build a collection that truly stands apart, the Smith & Wesson Model 57 "No Dash" is one addition that will always hold a place of honor.
