Outstanding rifle in the highly sought after and somewhat scarce .300 H&H caliber.
S/N 489785 with matching scribed bolt made in 1960.
Excellent original finishes showing 99% Blue and 97%+ Varnish. Nicer quality wood with wide checkering panels.
26" barrel with a minty bore. Smooth and flawless mechanical functions throughout.
I have inspected the barrel channel and it remains clean with no alteration, routing, or any other issues.
I have also personally verified that the chamber remains a true .300 H&H and has never been routed to WBY nor any other such sacrilege.
A really nice example for your collection, or as a supreme hunting rifle.
