Browning Model 1895 chambered in .30-40 Krag. A Japanese reproduction of John Browning's final lever gun design. This rifle marked a departure from traditional lever-action designs, being designed to handle powerful smokeless powder cartridges chambered with modern spitzer bullets. These were exact reproductions of the famed Winchester 1895.
In 1984, Browning made 10,000 of these rifles. 6,000 in .30-06 and 4,000 in .30-40 Krag.
