This is a splendid looking, all matching rifle (including the cleaning rod) with "scrubbed" receiver crest, that retains 95-97% of the original blue finish on the metal, with some mild silvering at the muzzle, along the high and exposed edges, and the original armory bright along the bolt body, with some mild plum-brown freckling on the handle and bolt knob. The bolt latch retains some of the original brilliant fire blue as well. All of the remaining markings are crisp and clear. The stock rates fine, with some scattered handling marks and blemishes, heaviest along the comb and near the heel on the right side, and the Argentine cartouches are crisp and clear. This is a fantastic example of a desirable, pre-DWM rifle, and rates fine-near excellent overall. Antique SOLD Antique: Yes |
