Research indicates this is a WWII era Japanese Nambu Type 14 pistol, manufactured in the Nagoya Arsenal in November 1941. The markings in front of the serial# indicate a Kokubunji First Series Pistol. Inquiring individuals should research and verify this information prior to purchasing. This pistol is in nice condition overall considering its age. It has some factory tool marks as well as handling wear, consistent with light to moderate use. The bore and rifling are in good condition. The action, trigger and safety appear to be fully functional. This pistol comes with the shown leather holster (be sure to review the Japanese marking inside the cover) and two magazines. Note: Due to the age, collectability and lack of ammo, this firearm has not been test fired and is sold \"As Is\". It is recommended to have a certified gunsmith inspect this firearm prior to firing.

Bore condition: There does not appear to be any visible rust in the bore, but there are small imperfections in the bore that are consistent with military grade firearms of this era. Most likely tooling marks. With that said, I would give the bore 85%+ condition. The rifling is strong and easily visible. I would rate the rifling at about 85%+ as well. These are conservative numbers.
Serial Numbers: Of the three visible serial numbers on the gun, they appear to all match. There‚‚s the frame serial#, then the bolt (it matches) and the trigger. The trigger serial is a bit hard to read due to the location, but from what I can see with a flashlight, it also matches. The magazines are also serialized, they do not match the gun
