Description:
The Western Field model 81 was one of several small caliber rifles offered by Montgomery Ward. This rifle is mechanically functional, however the barrel appears to be loose in the receiver. Overall finish is good, but the original blue has faded to a brown patina with some patches of corrosion. The buttstock bas been coated in either lacquer or varnish nd the forend has wear appropriate to its age.
