This is the Diamond No. 43, second issue pistol manufactured by J. Stevens A & T Co. from 1896-1916 with the serial number placing this toward the end of that period. It features V notch rear and bead front sights, and a nickel plated frame. The barrel retains about 70-75% of the original blue and about 85-90% nickel on the frame. The walnut grips are solid and in excellent condition showing some use marks. It locks up with a very slight amount of play and the hammer holds at half and full cock with a crisp trigger. A very fine to near excellent example of the Diamond No. 43. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
