This Star Megastar 45 is a semi-automatic pistol that is chambered in .45 ACP. A Spanish gun that was originally manufactured with 10mm in mind, it was designed to be able to withstand the cartridges power, hence the large and heavy steel build. Releasing in the 1990s, its run was short-lived as the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban took away from the purpose of the double stack magazines that exceeded the limit of 10 rounds, with production shortly stopping after. It is reported that there was roughly 5424 made chambered in .45 ACP, and just 978 in 10mm. This particular handgun is in overall good condition with the exception of some blemished on the slide, which can be seen in the photos. This is a fantastic pistol for somebody seeking an interesting and rare firearm to add to their collection. .45 ACP
