Description:
This is a very good condition Sako Model 85L bolt action rifle with a stainless steel finish and gray synthetic stock. There are one inch Optilock bases and rings mounted on the rifle. The rifle has a thumb safety, eyes for a sling, open sights with a front sight hood and a 4 round removable clip. The rifle weighs 8 lbs 12.5 oz as is and is not uncomfortable to shoot. Your scope would add X number of ounces. It has a handy 22 inch barrrel. There is one small scrape on the pistol grip area which should show in the picture. There is a very small scratch on the bottom of the barrel just ahead of the sling attachment. The action is very smooth as most all Sako rifles are. Accuracy is as follows: With 66 grains of H4895 and a 300 grain Nosler Partition bullet a 3 shot group will average 1.05 inches at 100 yards. With 72 grains of RL15 and a 270 grain TSX bullet a 3 shot will average 0.6 inch at 100 yards and 2.05 inches at 200 yards. This rifle shoots and is a "go anywhere, hunt anything" rifle ready to go.
