Description:
Stunning Browning Superposed "D5 Exhibition" 12ga gun made with 28" barrels that have low profile matted ventilated top rib. Schnabel tipped Superlight forend is beautifully checkered with chain link border pattern and has fully engraved latch release and iron. Frame is superbly and richly factory floral scroll engraved and signed by Baerten on both sides. The engraving on this gun is incredible and there are miniature scrolls engraved in to the pattern making this a very sophisticated work of functional art! The gun has a fabulously figured piece of European Walnut whichis beautifully checkered with chain link border and point pattern. The butt terminates with its original Skip line checkered butt. It is housed in a modern case.
The gun remains in near mint original condition with virtually all factory original finishes remaining. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are perfect.
