Description:
Here is a beautiful Stevens 416 Civilian model with the heavy "X" barrel. This rifle is in excellent condition. Labeling it a Civilian Model is not correct. This rifle was built in 1938, way before the war, per John Callahan. It was planned as a target rifle from the very beginning. Trust me it will match any any 52 B or Remington target rifle out there. Also supposedly they were without serial numbers, BUT if you know where to look you will find the number. This rifle is # 14, first day of production! Correct bread box front sight, correct rear sight, Unertl scope bases included. You would be hard pressed to find another 416, in this condition with a two digit serial number. Im not an FFL dealer. No disappontments here.
