Description:
German WW2 Gewehr G\K-43 rifle. This rifle was manufactured by DUV which is the wartime code for Berlin Luebecker, one of three makers of this rifle (BCD and Walther were the other two). Rifle is from the “i” block which puts production as late in 1944 when the receiver markings were changing from G to K-43, so you see a mix of markings in this block. All parts are matching on the rifle, I have stripped it down to the firing pin carrier and all parts of the bolt assembly are properly numbered and proofed. The stock is externally numbered on the keel and includes the "i" for the letter block (DUV marked their stocks with the letter block) and has two e/214 proof on the Right Side. All matching G\K-43’s that are unmessed with are difficult to find, these rifles seemed to always get sporterized or “improved” at some point in their post-war life. This one is original and correct. Includes an original G43 site hood (not a K98 hood roughly fitted), and an AYE K43 magazine.
