Sharp and sleek Winchester 1894 Deluxe rifle in 30 WCF caliber
S/N 161498 made in 1899
26" half Octagon barrel with a good bore, reflective and fully rifled with some light surface erosion.
90% original Blue over most with exception of the forward portion of receiver, take down flange, and rear tang which have taken on a brownish ochre patina. The lever color has faded.
Rifle has the take down feature and a crescent steel buttplate.
Deluxe pistol grip wood is also in excellent condition showing 90% original finish with some subtle but nice tiger stripe grain and no cracks or other issues worth noting.
Sights consist of a shrouded thin post front and a Lyman 21 receiver sight in the rear. There is an early style Lyman 12S filler plug in the barrel dovetail.
All mechanical functions are crisp and working properly.
