Description:
Serial #152617, 9mm Para., 4 3/4" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of mild freckling within the grooves. This is a fixed sight-equipped, unslotted pistol that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, and slide. The metal retains about 85-90% of the original blue finish that has silvered at the muzzle and along the exposed edges and surfaces. There is some further plum-brown freckling on either side of the slide, and curved area of finish loss on the frontstrap. The Waffenamt stamps and other markings are still crisp and clear. The checkered walnut grips are original and are in very good shape, although there is some moderate wear and flattening of the points commensurate with the condition of the rest of the gun. The pistol comes with a single post-war magazine, and is housed in a brown leather, P.35-type private purchase soft-side holster with no visible markings. The leather is in very good condition; still supple and intact, but with minor scuffs and blemishes, as well as a very small amount of flaking and crazing along the flex points and edges. This is a fine wartime occupation High Power that looks great, and would make a fine addition to any World War II collection. FFL or C&R
