Serial No. 5519, circa 1857-1860, .22 short RF, 3 3/16"" octagonal barrel. Barrel and cylinder are a dark grey patina with scattered discoloration. Barrel is marked ""SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS"". Brass frame has an almost copper patina. Two piece Rosewood grips are in very good plus condition with light handling wear. Bore is dark with pitting visible in the grooves, rifling remains strong. Action indexes correctly with a tight lock up. Consignment
