Description:
This Smith & Wesson M10 w/a serial number of C93102 was mfg abt 6/1949. It is a rare 5 - Screw. The bluing is 99% w/no edge wear. There is no evidence of any restoration, I believe it to be an all original piece. It appears in a LNIB condition. It came from an estate of a S & W collector some time back.
I use S & W's Standard catalog, 4th Edition by Jim Supica & Rich Nahas for my reference info.
The following info is typical of this firearm:
Original 5 Screw Frame, Double Action 38 Special Caliber, Round Butt Grips built
on the "K" service frame w/a 1/8 inch serrated ramp & a 3-inch pinned barrel -
which were available by "Special Order", fitted w/a 6 - Shot fluted cylinder.
Square Frame Butt w/Rounded Butt Grips - w/S & W medallions.
Made in "USA" appears above the trigger guard & a .265 Hammer. Barrel markings are "Smith & Wesson on the left side w/ ".38 S&W Special CTG" on the, on the right side, 4 - Line indented letters. (See page 203 for further information).
