An Early & Rare Civil War 1/6 Plate Tintype Of Two Confederate Soldiers In Typical Southern Outfits With One Wearing A "C.S." oval buckle On His Belt In Fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The tintype is fine & clear throughout. Both soldiers have a great serious look to them and appear ready to fight. The one wearing his Confederate Shell Jacket and Slouch Hat has an oval "C.S." buckle on his belt. This buckle is very clear in the photo. The original outer leather case is fine throughout. This Is A Very Rare Confeerate Tintype To Find As Clear Photos Of "C.S." Buckles Almost Never Show Up In Civil War Images. This Image Would Be A Prize For Any Fine Civil War Collection!
