World War One DWM Luger fitted with a 4 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips, back strap with integral stock lug, is blue finished with straw finished trigger, safety catch, take down bolt, ejector, & magazine catch, and is chambered in 9mm Luger (the Luger was the 1st pistol chambered in the 9mm). This 1916 chamber dated Luger is in excellent original condition, retaining 80% orignal blue and 80% straw finishes. The bore is shootable, with nice lands but frosty grooves, and the action functions perfectly. The grips fit well and are in excellent condition, retain crisp checkering, and have no cracks or chips. Pistol is all numbers matching except for the magazine and left grip panel. Both grip screws are unmolested. A nice example of a early WWI Luger.
