Description:
Being offered is a pair of TC .45 cal. Patriot pistols. One is the very early model without the brass nosepiece. Early models were mostly bland in finish and wood but this early specimen shows nice wood, finish and remarkable bright, crisp bluing. The second pistol is the later style as can be seen with the brass nosepiece that also appears on the Seneca rifles. This pistol also shows excellent wood and bluing. Close inspection of bores and metal makes it difficult to determine if either were ever fired. With their set trigger, they have been regarded as the most accurate of single shot black powder pistols. Being sold as a set. Buyer pays shipping.
