Its K-frame, 6-shot capacity, and, of course, Smith & Wesson quality made it an ideal service revolver.  This example is a 4" barrel revolver from 1971-1972 and has a blued finish. About 98% of its blue finish remains. There is some finish wear on some of the edges, the most noticeably on the muzzle. The screw heads are unmolested. The markings are clear. The bore is good and the mechanics are still spot-on after 50 years. The box matches the serial of the gun. This 4" model is the perfect balance of precision and maneuverability and this will make a great defensive revolver or collectible. Hand guns must travel via Air, whilst long guns and other items can go via Ground. Non-firearm accessories, such as magazines, can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail at the customer's request. We provide tracking numbers with all of our transactions.
