Description:
This is a best boxlock non-ejector gun w square crossbolt, sideclips, reinforced bar, and profuse fine scroll engraving. The 26.5" rifled barrels are 16ga 2 1/2" circa 30 twist with very good bores and two folding leaves and fresh rust blue; the 12 bore shotgun barrels have a separate forend, are 28" x 2 3/4" w sunken rib bright bores choked 735/715 M & 740/703 F w.thinning blue, some residual pitting in the forcing cones, walls 30 and 25, . Both sets are chopper lump, recently rejointed. Wood is in excellent condition as refinished and neatly pinned w 24 lpi fine checkering nicely cut, LOP 14 3/8" drops 1.75 and 2.75" 1/8 cast off. Weight 6-7 and 8-2. Tight and unusual to say the least.
