This is a old Mexican Dagger. This knife has a hand turned bull horn handle and a 8" blade and is 12 1/2" overall. All parts are tight and solid. There are no chips or cracks in the horn handle. This is a needle sharp dagger fighting knife that would give a century of service. Mexicans were notoriously deadly knife fighters. This is a very well-made Mexican knife dating to the Mexican revolution or earlier. The sheath is just as interesting as the knife its self. It has stars stamped throughout.The is soft and strong. It would benafit by removing the old stitches and resewn or just admire its primitive workmanship. It all combines to make a uniquely interesting knife and sheath from good materials. It is the talent of the maker that makes it so appealing.
