Description:
This Marlin Model 1895CB Cowboy remains in excellent overall condition showing only light use. Uncheckered Walnut buttstock is solid showing few marks. Wood under ammo sleeve is a lighter color and has dried from sleeve wicking moisture. Several coats of oil should bring it back to normal finish. Original blue is also very good showing few detracting marks. Original blade front sight has been switched to Globe front and original rear sight has been removed with dovetailed plug added. Williams receiver mounted rear Peep Sight has been added as well as a rubber "Limbsaver" recoil pad. Top of receiver is factory drilled and tapped. No box. Leather sling and leather lever loop cover added. Nice gun in hard hitting .45-70 Gov't. caliber. .45-70 Government
