This is a super nice example of an early WWII Japanese T99 rifle. It is all original and all matching, including the receiver, bolt, extractor, firing pin, safety, and the bayonet lug. The gun is all complete with original monopod and original sling. The cleaning rod is an original full length example. This rifle was made around 1943 at Nagoya Toriimatsu factory, and is an early "first series". Metal retains over 95% of original blue with cleanly ground mum. Wood is in excellent condition is well and had not been modified in any way. Nagoya proofmark behind the pistol grip on the underside of the butt stock. Chromed bore and bolt face.
A superior all original complete example that would be hard to upgrade. The monopod itself is a $400 item.
