Pattern 1853 Snider Enfield conversion 3 band rifle in cal.577snider. Maker in unknown there are no markings on the lock assembly, But there are foreign markings on the trigger guard butt plate, upper band,and breach plug, that are all the same. The barrel is 36 1/2", and overall lenth of the rifle is 55". The stock is in excellent condition for it's age, no cracks dents, or gauges, metal is a nice dark patina, bore is clean with rifling, with original cleanning rod.
