This is a mint example of a rarely-seen, bi-color WALTHER P88 “Champion” Target Pistol chambered in 9mm Para with a .22LR factory-fitted Conversion System. About 1.000 of this top-of-the-line WALTHER pistols were ever produced.
This gun and its .22LR conversion system are is in like-new condition with no obvious signs of wear. It has a 6” extended barrel and compensator, and one (1) 14 round magazines as well as one (1) .22LR magazine. More mags are available for purchase. Adjustable trigger and rear sight, it has an incredible light & smooth trigger pull. The bores of both barrels are mint. Discreet import marking.
The P88 Champion is top of the line and best pistol CARL WALTHER has ever produced. The P88 Champion with conversion system was produced only for one year, and were never actively exported to the United States, making them very rare & difficult to find. A must have for any serious & descrimitive WALTHER pistol collector.
The original, lockable WALTHER factory carrying case has been damaged during importation and is included in the sale at no charge.
