Colt Official Police fitted with a 5" barrel, round fixed front sight, fixed rear sight (groove on top of frame), checkered wood Colt grips, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. This 1943 vintage Colt is in very fine condition, retaining almost all of it's original finish. The metal shows some handling marks and some high edge wear. The grips are original colt, are in solid shape but are not original to the gun and show quite a bit of wear. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action function is very smooth and is in perfect time. This one has most likely had an action job as it is smoother than most double action Colts of this era. This handsome old revolver should make for an excellent shooter. Sorry, no box or paper-work.
