I consider this rifle to be in Near Mint Condition. Has two light compresions in the wood on the left side near the pistol grip. No wood stain penetration. Excellent Bore, Excellent Bluing, and Excellent Forend and Wood stock. Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked "Remington" followed by a bullseye, ", Fieldmaster/ Model 572",and the serial number A1807216. The left side of the barrel has inspection code.
