Here's is a Genuine Original Japanese (Samarai) Iron War Signal fan ! Edo period Gunsen war fan Circa 1800-50 . Used by Japanese Military Officers during Combat to Signal there troops in Silence ! True Survivor. Made of Iron and Bamboo. Also used as a weapon when closed ! Excellent Condition Example . Very few of these Signal Fans Survived . This one is in Excellent Original condition. Measures 11" . Made of iron , bamboo and lacquer finish. These where made in all different sizes. This one is depicting a gold sun !
