All matching Post-ban Norinco NHM 90 Underfolder chambered in 7.62x39mm. The NHM 90 rifles were "neutered" after the ban in 1989 and had their bayonet lugs ground, muzzle devices welded, under folder receiver holes blocked, and were shipped in with thumb-hole stocks. It was common practice after the ban was lifted to knock out the receiver blocks, install an under-folding stock, and have the stock tang removed. This NHM 90 features an under folder stock with a custom paracord/leather cheek pad, a 16" barrel with a welded muzzle device ( the barrel is threaded underneath and the muzzle device pin is still inserted), checkered hardwood pistol grip, smooth hardwood handguard, 10-round Chinese magazine with bolt hold-open follower, and Chinese green fabric sling. The original finish across the entire rifle is in excellent overall condition and just shows the occasional handling mark and extremely light high-edge wear. The hardwood handguard and pistol grip are in great overall condition and are free from any signs of cracks, chips, or major damage. Both the handguard and pistol grip do show various handling marks, a handful of light compression marks, and the handguard does show wear from the under folder contacting the bottom. The bore of the 16" barrel is bright with sharp rifling and shows no signs of pitting or corrosion. All the factory controls function flawlessly and every numbered part is matching to the receiver. This NHM 90 would make an excellent addition to any AK collection and/or firearm collection in general. Sorry, no box with this one.
