H&R Model 1873 Calvary Carbine fitted with a 22 inch barrel, fixed blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, walnut stock fitted with a steel carbine butt-plate, blue finished with a color case hardened finished butt-plate, and chambered in .45-70 Govt.. The gun is in excellent original condition, retaining 99% orignal blue, with the saddle ring showing the most blue loss along with the butt-plate showing some thinning of the case hardened finish. The stock retains 98% original finish, with assorted minor handling marks/dings/scratches. The bore looks as new and the action functions the same. It appears the gun has been shot very little.
