Description:
Serial #71-92249, 7mm Mauser, 22" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1976-made rifle that has the “MADE IN THE 200TH YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY" roll mark on the barrel and retains 98-99% of the original blue finish with only some barely discernible traces of silvering on a couple of edges. The bolt has a few tiny spots of surface oxidation visible on the edges of the extractor, but no finish wear on the handle. The walnut stock has only a few minor handling marks scattered about the otherwise excellent original finish, and the original red Ruger recoil pad is still fitted. The rifle is housed in its original, numbered one-piece cardboard box with original papers and a set of Ruger 1" rings. This is a splendid pre-warning, tang safety-equipped rifle, and is chambered in a particularly useful cartridge. FFL
