Description:
25-35 Winchester, serial number 5040XX. Mfg 1909. 20" round barrel, carbine buttstock. Saddle ring carbine. Barrel and magazine tube retain 80% blue. Barrel bands worn bright. Receiver retains 20% in sheltered areas. Left side of receiver drilled and tapped for Redfield peep sight. Rear sight dovetail filled with Marble blank. High Marble bead front sight added. Bore good-very good, light frosting. Very shootable. Bass wood stock. Sound, with extensive minor marring, forend retains 40% original finish, butt retains 60% original finish.
