Description:
This is a rare item from the Union Metallic Cartridge Company, the box dates 1890’s- 1911. These were bought as primed metallic shells and loaded multiple decades ago. The head stamps are U.M.C 32-40 but 15 of the 27 rounds are marked S H which was an early marking for Solid Head projectiles loaded at the factory. The 50 round box is in excellent original condition with clear label and distinct age soiling from long exposure. The corner and edges are in very good condition with the minor rubs. The bottom of the two piece box with dividers is also excellent. Would add greatly to any collection or display.
