Here we have a really nice 1942 production WB stamped Colt 1911A1. Shipped April 20th, 1942 to Springfield Armory #773444 features Colts early Type I gray parkerized finish. This gun is completely original with excellent matching wear patterns. Early hollowback Coltrock grips. This 42 Colt comes rigged with a Early S-B Co. Holster, Froelich BAR Belt dated 1941 and a really nice pair of USMC marked Cow cutters.
This pistol fall right in the middle of a USMC block of pistols according to the SRS.

This is an excellent original example as-issued in early 1942. Just as action in the Pacific Theater was getting underway.
