Happy collecting and investing in a product that continues to rise as material and labor costs rise. And the labor force becomes less about quality. China and Mexico items just don’t seem to last. Description: Sold !!! Ok. A friend of mine bought these about 30 years ago. He ran a ad in the Sherman paper. before good old fashioned internet. The elderly lady he got them from. Said they were her fathers and he was a Frontier Lawman. Out of the Sherman Denison area. The Colt is made in 1904. Winchester 1892 1903. Both 38-40. I shot both. Used my truck bed for a rest. Both have good bores and shoot well. Actions are strong. Pretty much no finish guns. You can see the faded mark in the stock where it has been in the scabbard most it's life. The Colt grips on the left are worn smooth like it rubbed against a saddle for a few miles. And they all lived happily ever after the end. My hands are tired from typing. I wish he'd gotten some type of Bonafides maybe just a hand written letter from the lady but. He didn't. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
