Matching magazine with release at base numbered “7478” having seven indicator holes and spring loaded sleeve for spare cartridge. Synopsis: Super scarce and RARE French Manufrance M1928 LeFrancais, FACTORY ENGRAVED, with finned barrel and matching magazine. Condition: At least 97% bright original rust blue with sharp edge wear and slight fading as one might expect from a pistol that has seen light use. Comparable condition case hardened parts with early fading. Crips grips with sharp checkering, the right panel having a hairline crack extending from the forward edge. Magazine with usual insertional wear. Bright bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. The rarest and most desirable of all the big LeFrancais Armee Pistoles, only the fourth this reviewer has seen in 30+ years, sure to please the most advanced collector!
