An Early, Rare, And Very desirable U.S. Military Issued Harpers Ferry Model 1805 Flintlock Pistol In Nice Untouched Condition. Only 4,096 made from 1806-1808. All original and complete. It is numbered "1648" on top of the barrel in front of the U.S. proof marks. Nice untouched metal, markings and edges. The lock is clearly marked with a "spread eagle and shield/US" in front of the hammer. It is marked "Harpers Ferry/1807" behind it. All of the metal on the pistol has a very untouched light patina on it. All of the brass hardware is also untouched with a darkening mellow color to it. The original wood is also nice with good edges. There are "U.S. Inspectors Marks" on the backside behind the lock. The pistol has a very good action and bore. The 1805 pistol was the first military handgun to be produced by a national armory. This Is A Very Nice Untouched Example Of A Very Desirable U.S. Military Issued Model 1805 Harpers Ferry Flintlock Pistol Dated 1807 In All Original Condition!
