About Us: I am no longer hunting so I have decided to sell the shotguns I have purchased over the last 50 years. Most are side by sides - there are a couple of over and unders. I have a few 12 ga. and 28ga.- most are 20 ga. and 1 Model 42 deluxe skeet.
Description:
Winchester Model 42 Skeet Grade. Manufacture date - 1954. 3" chamber - doughnut post vent rib - jeweled bolt - 27" barrel - 13 1/4 LOP.
98% blue - A few minor nicks in the stock - a hairline crack on left side of stock where stock meets receiver ( see pictures ).
** The vent rib on this gun is marked Simmons Gun Specialties ( very wide spacing ) with no address. Top of barrel has proof mark - receiver does not. please see pictures. I beleive Winchester contracted with Simmons to install these ribs on this 1954 vintage gun **
