Description: This is a High-Quality reproduction of the French model 1777 Calvary Carbine. It has a Case hardened frizzen that throws plenty of sparks and reduces misfires. It has a 31 1/2 inch round smoothbore barrel. Brass hardware. The Carbine can use either of two kinds of slings. The sling swivels for use as dismounted troops and the sidebar with two rings for the mounted sling. The stock is Walnut. The overall length is 45 inches. Each Gun is test-fired with a charge of Pyrodex. The flint and leather keeper we install is included. This gun would be correct for a French or American Calvary impression of the American Revolution. It became more extensively used during the Napoleonic wars and would be correct for a French Light Dragoon or a French Hussar. Most reproduction Flintlocks come from India and have no Case hardened parts. This is not one of those. Shipping is $35.00 to the lower 48.Via USPS Priority mail and includes tracking and insurance.
