Description:
After World War II, Plainfield Machine manufactured carbines in various configurations. Unlike other manufacturers' Paratrooper Models that were put into military service, this civilian model deviates from the folding stock design, opting instead for a telescoping wire stock with two locking positions, collapsed or fully extended. The locking mechanism consists of a simple, but effective, spring-loaded cross bolt that engages a pair of grooves at either end of the wire. Interestingly enough, when it's not anchored in those grooves, that cross bolt exerts enough side pressure to allow the user to temporarily taylor the length of pull to meet the needs of those much smaller in stature. With one quick adjustment you can let your kids join in on the fun. Includes a single 30 round magazine. .30 Carbine
