The Smith & Wesson Model 65 “Military & Police Heavy Barrel Stainless” is a stainless-steel .357 Magnum / .38 Special revolver patterned of the Model 13. They were extensively used by law enforcement and produced from 1972-2004
This is the -6 model, which was introduced in 1997.
Guns was able to acquire a large amount of these as part of a Law Enforcement trade-in. There are slight variations in the conditions and rubber grips – the grips you receive could be S&W, Hogue or Pachmayr.
