Description:
This is an M1 Carbine that was produced in 1943 by Irwin Pedersen, the rarest and most desired manufacturer of WW2 carbines. Irwin-Pedersen produced and completed less than 4,000 rifles, which is less than 1/10th of 1 percent of total M1 production. The rest were completed by Saginaw Gear. The finish on this rifle is excellent, but it does appear it went through at least partial re-work due to the RIA proof on right side of the stock. The sling recess is marked IP with the flaming bomb. The carbine is in excellent condition, containing 95% of the original finish with no major defects. Bore is excellent and the Barrel is correctly Underwood made and dated to February of 1943.
