Description:
Walther P-38 AC40 all matching (except mag) early war P-38 in excellent condition. Nice early example 1940 production with high polish finish. Referred to by many collectors as the third variation of 1940 production only 14,000 examples were produced. By comparison, AC41 production was approximately 130,000 pistols. These early Walthers are by far the nicest finish wartime production P-38's. This example has nice overall finish which is thinning but very even and original. Bore is good and all the numbers match including the numbered grips. Mag is Waa 359 (once) and numbered to another pistol. Questions about this quality collectable P-38 please let me know. Asking price is $2,700 plus shipping insurance. Credit card purchase is +3.5% bank fee. C&R is ok for this pistol.
