Description:
Winchester model 71 Deluxe 348 WCF. Built in 1941,just before we got into WWII,this rifle is in excellent original condition. It retains 98% of the original blue finish and 95% of the original wood finish. All roll marks and inspectors stamps are sharp and crisp. The bore is mint. The front sight still retains the sight hood. The wood is sound with no cracks or damage. The buttplate has been rusted and then cleaned and there is a very thin water mark at the end of the butt.(see photos) I am actively looking for a replacement buttplate now. Still a very clean original 71 that would make an outstanding hunting gun. Comes with a period correct leather sling.C&R eligible.
