Description:
J P Sauer stalking rifle. This is a beautiful untouched rifle that has been on a wall in a Battle of the Bulge officer that became a two star General. It has a layer of dry oil and household dust on it and I have cleaned a couple of spots so you can see what is underneath. The gun is chambered in 5.6X35R and the bore is excellent. The barrel is 23 3/4" long. The rear sight has one standing and one folding leaf. There is a single lug Greener style cross bolt. There are double set triggers. The forend is thicker above the receiver line and the checkering runs up in a curve. The thing that looks like a crack is a line the checkering craftsman put there to transition the thinner wood to the thicker wood. The LOP is 14 1/4" over a Sauer horn butt plate. You might find a gun like this as good, but you won't find one any better. Shipping is $25.00; I am an FFL dealer, no local pick-ups.
