Description:
This is an extremely rare Imperial Russian FN Model 1900 with factory nickel finish. It is factory marked, unique and the only known sample of this contract in the United States. The finish is all original and the factory grips are present, too. The nickel finish may indicate that it was for more than just utilitarian use, and the pistol has proofs indicating it was imported into Britain at some point in time. Could be a possible bring-back from the Allied intervention in the Russian Civil War. The pistol is also pictured in Vanderlinden's second edition of FN Browning Pistols on page 168, and will also be shown in the upcoming third edition. The listing includes a free copy of said book.
